As you may or may not know, when you buy a webkinz animal you also get a webkinz code to register him or her online. When you register your new pet, a cyber version of your pet is created. This world is complete with a virtual home. Within this home there is a kitchen.

In the kitchen is where the magic happens, because you can feed your new pet, foods created in the kitchen. Instead of giving just basic food for your webkinz pet, you can create special foods by following a webkinz recipe or just by blending foods together that you feel will make a good meal. These meals are not only fun to create but also have certain boost benefits for your virtual webkinz.

Let’s take a look at the tools or appliances the kitchen has to offer.

The Stove – The stove allows you to cook three different ingredients to make a unique meal or snack. Stoves are available in a variety of ways, just like the real world. Cauldrons, BBQs and grills are all considered a stove or stovetop appliance. If you create a recipe that does not work, then the appliance will create “Gunk,” that is one of four colors – blue, green, grey and funky orange.

The Mega Stove – This stove allows you to add five ingredients, used in the proper order it can create a mouth-watering meal. However if you don’t create the meal in order, the outcome is a blue-pinkinsh color known as, “Mega Gunk.”

The Blender – This appliance is similar to the stove as it allows for three ingredients to be used. There is basically one type of blender, but are available in a variety of colors. If your recipe fails, the non-food output it created is called, “Gak!” The colors are the same as Gunk.

The Sandwich Maker – This appliance is as it implies, it makes sandwiches for your webkinz. Again, you combine three ingredients to make a recipe. When three ingredients to make a proper recipe fail, then “Blech” are created.

Now that you know the basic appliances available in the kitchen, let’s take a look at some recipes.

My Favorite Recipes

Banana Split

Using a stovetop appliance mix Bananas, Cherries and an Ice Cream Cone.

Blastop Rocaket

Using a stovetop appliance mix Chicken Nuggets, Orange Pop and Popcorn.

Blueberry Parfait

Using a blender – blend Blueberries, Peanuts and an Ice Cream Cone.

Spicy Salsa

Using a blender – blend Asparagus, Tomato and Corn on the Cob. (Make sure you use “corn-on-the-cob” not regular corn.)

Hole In One

Using a sandwich maker – grill Asparagus, a Bagel and Chicken Nuggets.

Fastest Selling Webkinz Animal

What’s the fastest selling webkinz ever? Well although the numbers are preliminary, it seems the webkinz reindeer is becoming the fastest selling webkinz of all time. The marketing of introducing this animal during the holiday season is a “no-brainer” but to become the fastest selling webkinz of all time is quite astonishing. It also is a good introductory webkinz animal, because during Christmas, you may not not what webkinz to buy, so why not go with the season’s unofficial mascot/animal, the reindeer. Although it is not the most original selection of webkinz, it will be off course a limited time in which to buy the reindeer, assuming they only will sell during the season.

The best part about Webkinz is that these toys are registered online. What I mean is that the toy is registered at the adopotion center at webkinz world. When the toy is adopted, a name is attached to the webkinz. Seeing as it is Christmas and the animal is a reindeer, chances are that kids will loving naming the reindeer after one Santa’s favourite reindeer. No NOT “Rudolph,” little known fact – Comet is Santa’s favourite.

What makes this webkinz a great idea is the fact it can me a great stocking stuffer, and left with a note from Santa. A child would really believe this gift was a special selection from Santa, knowing the special relationship Santa has with these magical animals.

So go out and buy a reindeer webkinz before there all gone today.

Retired Webkinz – The Complete List Revealed

Does your local gift store still seem to have the same old Webkinz sitting on the shelf? You just may want to take a closer look once you’ve read this story.

Retired Webkinz Cheap: I was talking to a friend of mine the other day who is an avid ebay seller and she told me the most incredible account of a recent Webkinz purchase she had made. A few months back she walked into a local store and noticed the shopkeeper marking down a bunch Webkinz toys. The strange thing was that most of them were identical and the shopkeeper was marking everything down to get rid of them as they had these in back of the store for quite some time.

The shopkeeper commented that they just weren’t selling many (although the store wasn’t even advertising that they carried Webkinz) and they wanted to just get rid of them. What the shopkeeper didn’t realize was that these were the retired Webkinz Cheeky Cat and Cheeky Dog!

In fact, there were nine of them total, and being an astute shopper my friend generously offered to by all of them for an additional bulk discount and take them off the shopkeepers hands. Flash forward a few months that $80 purchase turned into over $2,000 in sales on ebay! And after sharing this story with a few close friends, I’m finding that this scenario commonly replays itself around the country every day, so make sure to keep you eyes open for what’s hot and you just may find yourself at the right place at the right time.

Tip: It’s important to make sure that the code for the Webkinz you are buying has NOT been used. A Webkinz with a used tag code is not worth nearly as much! Plus, you need to be careful of flea market knock-off products too. Best bet is to buy from a legitimate trusted retailer, and if buying on ebay, someone with a solid level of good feedback selling Webkinz.

So next time you are at that little shop around the corner and you see that a bin full Webkinz, keep this list in mind, you just may find a diamond in the rough.

There is an interesting research article created by the Neilson Co. at Adweek. In short apparently websites geared to children such as Webkinz World jave a little to no ads. However the older the demographic, the more web ads are shown to that group. Sites geared toward seniors have the most ads.

Rest assured when your kids play webkinz the website has few ads, just like this site.

Webkinz – Most Searched Product on the Web

Toy, electronics and games dominated the top ten searched items in the month of September. The word “Webkinz” (yeah) was searched more than 3.5 million times. The word “games” came in second with 1.7 million searches. Predictly the term “Halloween costumes” were searched about 1.2 million times rounding of third spot.

What are Webkinz?

What are Webkinz? …are you serious? If you don’t know what Webkinz are, chances are, you’re over 12 years old. Webkinz are the hottest toys that all the kids want. Its a stuffed plush animal that comes with an adoption tag. When a child receives a webkinz, they simply go online to webkinz world and adopt his or her new webkinz pet. The new webkinz then comes to life on the web.

An animated version of the kids webkinz shows up on screen, and the kid has to take care of this new virtual pet. He or she has to feed, him furnish the webkinz room and take care of the new webkinz pet as if it were a real pet. This can really teach a kid about having a pet and learning responsibility without actually having a real pet.
